How to Take Care of Household Appliances

We all love to decorate and organize our things at home. We buy different ornaments to make our home more beautiful and attractive to our visitors. Not only that, we even bought various household appliances that we needed and that we wanted to display.

But then, there are times when we feel lazy to clean the equipment we have and we barely have time to take care of some of our household appliances. This is not good because our tools can get damaged, look old, or even cause accidents if not properly maintained. However, you don’t need to worry now, There are many Appliance Removal and Disposal Services that can help you even when you are busy.

Taking care of your household appliances is easy if you know the simple tips to do to ensure that your home appliances are in good working order and can last a lifetime. There are a variety of appliances we have at home and the most common are a refrigerator, microwave, stove or stove, dishwasher, and washer or dryer. As these appliances differ in function, they also differ in the way they are cleaned. Some equipment is too sensitive and more difficult to clean while others are easy to clean and maintain.

Refrigerator

In cleaning the refrigerator, make sure to unplug the cord first then turn off the knobs, take out everything inside then start cleaning the shelves and racks. You can remove the shelf and wash it with soap and water just like cleaning dishes. To clean the inside of the refrigerator use a soft sponge or cloth and remove all dirt.

Washer or dryer

Use soap and water to clean the outer surface of the microwave and use a damp cloth to clean and remove the dirt inside.

Microwave

Make sure to unplug first then use dish soap to clean the tray or dishes. To get rid of the bad smell, you can use vinegar or lemon, put it in a microwave glass, turn on the microwave and leave it for about 5 minutes then remove.

Dishwasher

the secret to caring for a dishwasher is to use it regularly so there is no need to always clean it. Once a week, check the inside of the dishwasher and make sure no dirt or debris can clog the holes and prevent water from flowing freely. You can also use a cloth to clean the outer surface and edges.

TV or computer

Use a paper towel or soft cloth to clean the surface and be sure to unplug the cable before cleaning. For plasma TVs, be sure to use a soft cloth.

Kitchen space

Clean up spills using baking soda and water, then wipe the walls with a damp cloth.

In general, equipment should be cleaned at least once a week to ensure it is functioning properly. You should also check the plug and if the appliance needs repair, contact a skilled electrician or repairman. Don’t try to fix it yourself as this can cause more damage to the appliance. Allocate time to clean your home appliances so they last longer and you don’t have to buy new appliances often.
